Hanna Kern visits the University of Groningen
On 8-17 April, Hanna Kern had the opportunity to visit Professor Davide Grossi at the University of Groningen (her alma mater). There he is a professor of Collective Decision Making and Computation, and is affiliated with the Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence.
During this visit, Hanna got feedback on her research in “Semi-Discrete Participatory Budgeting” where projects come with a minimum and maximum amount they can be funded. Furthermore, she also got to work on a new research direction Professor Grossi is starting with two of his PhD students, Feline Lindeboom and Maaike Venema-Los, and discuss ideas.
It was very special for Hanna to visit her alma mater, and we are looking forward to further collaborations in the future.
