H2020 Project OntoCommons Funded

We are proud and happy to announce that our group’s project portfolio has been extended with another H2020 project: OntoCommons (Ontology-driven data documentation for Industry Commons)!

Strongly connected to the already running OntoTrans project, the OntoCommons Coordination Support Action enlists a consortium of 19 European research partners in order to investigate the use of ontologies for standardised and FAIR data documentation with a primary focus on the materials and manufacturing sectors.

The overall project coordinator is TU Wien’s Institute of Sensor and Actuator Systems (research division Microsystems technology) in the person of Dr. Nadja Adamovic. SemSys will provide expertise with all aspects of ontology engineering drawing in particular from lessons learned in earlier industrial projects.
