Article accepted to the Semantic Web Journal

We are happy to announce that our article “Deriving Semantic Validation Rules from Industrial Standards: an OPC UA Study” has been recently accepted to the Semantic Web Journal, as part of the Special Issue on Semantic Web for Industrial Engineering. 

The article reports the results of several months of industrial research cooperation between SemSys and SIEMENS Germany focusing on the automatic analysis of OPC UA standard specifications in order to extract semantic rules from such textual documents.

Besides the results published in this article, current work focuses on making the rule-extraction pipeline more robust and auditable. Results will be reported in a paper submission sent to ETFA’23.
